Please turn on word-wrap!! Pan American World Airways Boeing Stratocruiser for FS2000-- 1958 Light Blue color scheme A joint effort by Dave McQueen and Rui Cristina November 4, 2000 This is a new B377 simulation updated from the basic model released in April, 2000. It is textured for night lighting. Windows are illuminated, and it has transparent cockpit windows. Thanks very much to Rob Bennis of the Netherlands for his "tutorial" assistance that provided me the incentive to tackle this complicated transparent window project-- 19 windows in 3 rows. Whew! Enjoy! ============================================================================================================================= *********** United States of America & Portugal************ Hello there, and thank you for downloading this great airliner, a Boeing 377 "Stratocruiser" . - A 12 sided fuselage, moving parts, and that extra care for a real nice visual model, available now for use with FS2K. Dave McQueen has indeed achieved a graceful model, and I would like to thank him for having given me his permission to try painting it. Thank You, Mr McQueen !!!!!!!!! *********** - About me... I'm 30 years old, and a steward at the national carrier, TAP, and an absolute air enthusiast !!!! I only wish I had more time to keep the hobby going...../;o( *********** This livery (Transocean ) is my second painting job, using an old, classic, airliner. I've added extra detail to the main fuselage, when it comes to metal appearance, wings, cabin windows,- curtains, faces are now included ;o)- I sincerely hope you'll love it , I'm pretty sure you will... Rui Cristina XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX This aircraft simulation is the latest upgrade to the Stratocruiser series that Dave McQueen has been making since 1996. It is intended for use with Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2000. It has full moving parts This aircraft simulation took many hundreds of hours of time at the keyboard to coordinate the present state of the project. This sim was made with Abacus' AF99 Aircraft Factory program and Konstantin Kukushkins' Aircraft Animator program. Activating the "O" key will turn on the strobe lights on the wing and fuselage. A custom made panel with a rear cabin view by Stephan Grille and modified for use with FS2000 by Dave McQueen is available from Dave & Rui's website at: http://flightsimmers.net/airport/airliners/ Instructions as to how to install the panel in your Stratocruiser folder are contained there as well, courtesy of Tom Gibson' Classic Airliners web site. You can also find there a set of Stratocruiser sounds that was included with Claudio Pedrazzini sounds.
